What you should know about the latest developments in social media
New York is in a bit of a panic mode.
Its not exactly a surprise, given the recent mass shootings in Las Vegas, Chicago, Orlando, and Paris.
But the sheer number of incidents is, to put it mildly, alarming.
While the events are not entirely unprecedented, it’s certainly an issue that the city and state is dealing with in a big way.
As New York Mayor Bill de Blasio has been urging citizens to be vigilant about the threat of terror, the state has been taking the lead on the issue.
According to a report from the Associated Press, “the state is cracking down on social media, cracking down even harder on Twitter.
The New York Police Department is cracking up on those who use social media for illegal activities and is cracking Down on Tweets that incite violence.
State law enforcement is also cracking down hard on anyone who posts threats or hate speech on social networks, such as social media platforms that host violent content.
In addition to cracking down, the New York City Department of Information Technology has launched a new program to crack down on online threats.
It is targeting companies that are allowing terrorists to publish material on their platforms.
According the AP, the NYPD has arrested at least 11 people in the past two months for violating the state’s laws against posting material online that encourages or encourages others to commit crimes, including encouraging others to engage in violent acts or to engage, and encouraging others in such acts.”
It’s a huge issue.
It has led to a surge in the number of arrests for hate speech and hate crime crimes on social platforms.
New York has the third-highest number of hate crimes in the country behind only Texas and California.
New Yorkers are also becoming more aware of the threats posed by terrorist groups like ISIS and ISIL.
But a new report from Vocativ points out that, “while New York residents are taking precautions to remain safe, the threat from the so-called Islamic State group has continued to grow.”
So, it seems that New York and other cities are finally getting serious about keeping our borders secure and our communities safe.
But as the threat grows, so does the concern.
It’s been reported that the threat is growing even more since the Las Vegas shooting, which left more than 500 people dead.
So how do we deal with it?
We need to be proactive.
It makes sense to be careful.
In fact, we should be proactive because we can.
But we should also be proactive, because we don’t know how many other people are being harmed.
There are a number of ways to take steps to keep our communities from becoming a target of terror.
It may sound obvious, but it’s a topic we’re going to hear a lot more about in the next few years.
